Adama Music was formed in 1994 as an independent record label, primarily as a vehicle for the Gospel Favorites series. Wearing the “country hat”, we also present the Ernie Wylie country albums. While Snapshot is the sole entry at this point, a new project is now in the studio, with a couple of others planned.. Adama Publishing was formed in 2000 to handle my “literary” production; more on that elsewhere (adamapubs.com). The initial conception is simply a direct marketing vehicle for our self produced music, the majority of which is "old time" gospel music by "Ernie Wylie Harkins and the Virtual Family Choir". We may well handle other groups or singers as time and finances allow. The country album, initially issued in 1993, is titled "Snapshot" by Ernie Wylie, and is a sampler of my songs, country classics and one gospel song. Feedback on the one gospel song was a major motivation for doing the Gospel Favorites series. In 2002 we reissued it on CD, with some new material. A limited number of the original cassettes are still available. INotes for each of the tapes are provided, on pages beneath this page, which are the extended versions of the liner notes printed on the tape inserts. We are now offering CD's and cassettes for the Gospel Favorites, Volume I-V, in both A Capella and accompanied versions.
